The Daughters, by Joanna Philbin The Daughters by Joanna Philbin delves into a world of the teenage life and the need to find yourself. Philbin tells the story of three best friends struggling to get out of the shadow of their parents and find their own identity and know where they belong in society. Lizzie Summers, Carina Jurgensen, and Hudson Jones are best friends with famous parents and they are all try to balance being in the spotlight because of their parents with having a normal high school experience.
Throughout the book they learn to trust each other and test the strength of their friendship as they experience boys, parties, and school work. This book demonstrates the importance of being yourselft and finding what you love to do and doing it. The book also shows that sometimes the best things are the things you least expected.
This book is fun and entertaining making it a challenge to put down. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fun read. The book forces you to question your own identity and discover more than you ever thought possible.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson, by John Green and David Levithan
What Young Adult fiction authors John Green and David Levithan have in common is their ability to accurately imitate a teenager's voice. There is no condescension in this work, and no impossibilities — Will Grayson, Will Grayson stands unique amongst peers that do not speak with respect for the teenage condition. Green and Levithan, both acclaimed bestsellers in their own rights, join in this book to explore the tribulations of growing up average, in the suburbs of Chicago. Whether an isolated and girlfriend-less music lover, a musical-theatre oriented football star, or a chronically cynical closeted gay boy, the characters that culminate in this novel are drawn exquisitely, with their interactions impressively genuine. The divide of the title characters is the basis of the plotline, with their stumbling upon each other seeming the climax of the book. Falling action is not immediate after this chance encounter, however- instead, the variety of ways in which Will Grayson intertwines lives with Will Grayson is where the drama of the novel truly begins. It is difficult to discuss the plot without sacrificing the surprises that make this book such a pleasure to read, so suffice it to say that deceptions, relationships, and a spectacular finale ensue.
For a voracious reader of either Green or Levithan's previous works, the author behind each contrasting Will Grayson narration will seem obvious. To someone unfamiliar with either's style, however, this novel may pique interest in the worthwhile novels that both writers have created. Whilst not the masterpiece of either author, Will Grayson, Will Grayson is a superior concept, executed excellently. ~Juliana V.

Audrey, Wait, by Robin Benway

This book is engaging, entertaining, and relatable. The book begins with a gil named Audrey who is just overcoming a break up with her boyfriend. When Audrey and her friends go to a night club where her ex-boyfriend performs with his band her world is turned upside down. Little did she know that the new song that her ex-boyfriend wrote would become a phenomenon. The book delves into a world of fame and the impact it has on people's lives. Audrey is a relatable character who in a world of fame and paparazzi is struggling to keep her head and fall in love with another boyfriend.
This book is a great fun read. The characters are relatable and the story line is fun and unpredictable. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a fun romantic book. You may think that you have heard this story before, but it was written in a fun and new way. I enjoyed every second I spent reading this book.
